Production Process

production process of tubulars for inflatable boats

01.

Inflatable boat needing tube replacement

This photo shows an example of an inflatable boat with a worn-out tube due to age and use, requiring a complete replacement.

02.

Removal of old tube

The first step involves removing the old tube and original glue strips. We carefully sand and restore the glue areas on the fiberglass hull, preparing them for new work.

03.

Reproduction of tubular shapes

The old inflatable tube is completely disassembled to create new shapes, which are then cut from the new fabric, correcting any natural deformations in the original components.
04.

Assembly of the new inflatable tube

Once cut, the new shapes are sanded with specialized machinery and assembled by skilled personnel using cold adhesive bonding.

05.

Assembled tube

Once the assembly process is completed, the glued parts are left to dry to allow the adhesive to catalyze properly. After that, the inflatable tube is inflated to verify its shape suitability and pressure holding capacity.

06.

Tube - Hull fitting test

The tube is moved to the assembly department, where it is matched for hull lofting.

07.

Fixing the fastening strips

According to the results, the areas are manually sanded and scoured in order to obtain the perfect gluing of fastening strips.
08.

Fixing the tube to the hull

The inflatable tube is fixed to the hull use hull using the fastening strips.
09.

Installation of covering strips

Once fixed, the covering and finishing strips are applied.
10.

Tracing and sanding the finishes

The inflatable tube is definitively installed, and all finishing details (GRAB HANDLES, RAILS, logos, and any other accessory) are designed and scoured/sanded according to the specific needs of the customer.
11.

Finished boat

Work completed. The tube is new, professionally reconstructed with certified production processes and top-quality materials. Now our inflatable boat is ready to navigate again.
